Melissa doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and has a flair for seeing through people and making situations work to her advantage. Jimmy Andrews. Posh and overly religious Jimmy has very strong beliefs and can’t help but express them. He has a dark past which contrasts to his holier than thou persona.

“Kids in Suits” Short Film seeking Asian Talents (NY)
Kids In Suits
Non-Union Short Film
Location: New York, Ny
Duration: 2 days, starts 12/11/10
Payment is on a lo/no/deferred basis.
Director: Alexander Reinach.
Nate is the star intern of SlangWho looking to get hired. When he asks about the open position, they tell him he doesn’t have enough experience. Not, yet ready to give-up on his dream, the CEO’s prank phone him as a test to see if he’s worthy of the job.
“Kid In Suits” is an experimental short with commercial viability. The aim is to shoot the film with 3-cameras and project it onto 3-screens for what we call Peripheral Vision Cinema (PVC). The experiment is all about what’s beyond 3D? What is the future of how we watch movies in the theatres? By shooting with 3 separate cameras the film can easily be reformatted for DVD and Video-On Demand. With alternative distribution venues on rooftops, parking lots, parks and college campuses Kids In Suits has the potential go where short films have fallen short.
Breakdowns:
1. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Hispanic.
very attractive, fun energy, has charm and sweetness to him. “The intern”. He’s determined to work for this company, but they wont hire him and while being left at the office, alone, he has to convince the investors to stay with the company. Nate has to choose between a job that pays and his dream job, what’s more important to him? What is the right decision? Is there a wrong or right?
2. Female / 18-24 yrs. / Asian.
Stern, no sense of humor, speaks quickly and staccato. She first tells the intern that he’s not getting the job, and convinces the CEO to test the intern via a prank phone call. She has child-like fights with the CEO, they very much act like kids when they’re together. She likes to joke and have fun, but doesn’t know how.
3. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Indian.
Serious exterior, but fun at heart. Obnoxious, nerdy, has ADD, always bored, likes to complain and likes to make other people’s lives difficult. He’s tired of looking for a replacement and agrees to take on this bet, that the intern isn’t worthy of the job. He tries to get Nate to fail, but it upstaged by the talented intern. He’s always trying to get respect as the CEO, but no one gives it to him.
4. Female / 41-50 yrs. / Hispanic.
Mother, shows her son tough love, tells him that he’s being kicked out of the house
